A resin detail accessory from Quickboost, made by Aires, in 1:72 scale. The set replaces the barrels of the defensive armament with finely rendered resin parts. It is not an aircraft model but a stand-alone accessory that raises the fidelity of the finished build.
The Heinkel He 111P-2 was a German twin-engine bomber of the Second World War with a glazed nose. The P version was powered by Daimler-Benz inverted V12 engines and the machine carried defensive gun armament in several positions in the fuselage.
Wash the parts to remove any mold release residue, separate the casting blocks carefully and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). A suitable steel shade will bring out the metal look. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
