A photo-etched detail set from the Czech maker Hauler in 1:48 scale. It is not a model of the vehicle but a photo-etched accessory for building a plastic model of the German Opel Blitz (Kfz.305) truck. The thin metal parts replace coarser plastic items and add details that make a big difference in this scale. The set is intended for the Tamiya or Supermodel kits.
The Opel Blitz was the standard three-ton truck of the German army in the Second World War. Under the designation Kfz.305 it served as a universal transport and supply vehicle on all fronts and was among the most widespread vehicles of the Wehrmacht.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and make the bends in a bender or against a ruler. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend gluing the fine grilles and grab handles on only after the basic assembly and going over them with a base coat.
This is a photo-etched accessory, not a complete model. The Tamiya or Supermodel base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
