This resin wheel set in 1:48 scale from SBS Model is intended for detailing a model of the German military vehicle the Kfz.385. It offers wheels of the late type with eight-bolt rims. It is an accessory, not a complete model. The cast resin wheels replace the parts from the base kit and bring a more faithful texture of the tires and of the rims.
The Kfz.385 was the German military version of a truck of the Opel Blitz line adapted as a tanker and supply vehicle. Vehicles of this line were among the most widespread German trucks of the Second World War and served on every front. The late treatments differed among other things in the construction of the wheel rims.
Wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces with respiratory protection. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). It is worth painting the wheels separately; bring the tires out with a matte color and a fine dust shade for a realistic effect.
