1:48 Lockheed F-94C Starfire is a decal sheet from the brand Caracal Models for models of the F-94C interceptor aircraft in 1:48 scale. It is an accessory for a kit, not the model itself.

A sheet of decals in 1:48 scale with markings of the two-seat Lockheed F-94C Starfire interceptor aircraft. In the package there is a printed decal film and instructions with the schemes for placement, and the model and paints are not part of it. Which machines the sheet covers is given by the manufacturer on the packaging and in the instructions: compare what the manufacturer gives on the packaging before buying with the model you want to build.
The F-94 came out of a development line following on from the first generation of American jet aircraft and was conceived as a two-seat interceptor machine for all-weather work; the crew consisted of a pilot and a radar operator. The C version represented the furthest developed modification, with a reworked nose, an engine with an afterburner and rearmament with unguided rockets. It stayed in service in the first half of the 1950s, and its glossy metal surfaces with striking color stripes are among the typical marks of the interceptor units of that period.
Models with large glossy metal areas are particularly sensitive to decal silvering: a matte veil under the film is visible at once on a smooth metal shade. Rely therefore on a perfectly smooth gloss base, settle the decal into a drop of water and press the surplus out from under it with a soft cloth from the center toward the edges. If silvering appears even so, the film can be carefully pricked at the place with the point of a scalpel and a drop of softener worked under it. Prevention, though, is always simpler than a repair.
A decal sheet is not a kit. It does not contain the model, paints or glue. The particular variants and the contents of the sheet are given on the packaging.
