The masking set 1:48 Su-35 Flanker-E BASIC from the New Ware brand. A modeling accessory for painting a model; it is not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a modeling accessory, not a kit of the aircraft. The set from the New Ware brand in 1:48 scale holds pre-shaped self-adhesive masks with which the surfaces that are to stay clean are covered before spraying. The BASIC designation distinguishes this set from the other levels in the same series, which are sold separately. Check before buying which variant will suit you.
The Su-35 is a single-seat twin-engine supersonic combat aircraft derived from the Su-27 design family. Compared with the original type it has a strengthened structure, a reworked internal layout and modernized avionics, and its engines allow thrust vectoring. A characteristic feature of the whole family is the integrated aerodynamic layout with a smooth transition between the fuselage and the wing and with two engine nacelles separated from the fuselage. For a modeler the important thing is the large glazing of the canopy with few frames, where any inaccuracy in masking shows at once.
Wash the glazing in lukewarm water with detergent before sticking the masks on and let it dry out completely. Place the masks with tweezers, press the edges down all the way around and start with the most complicated transitions. Spray the frames first in the interior shade and only then in the outer finish. Modern combat aircraft commonly use gray schemes with soft transitions, so work at low pressure and with well thinned paint. Take the masks off shortly after the finish has dried.
This is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The plastic model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. We recommend checking the fit with your kit before buying.
