This is a modeling accessory, not a kit of the aircraft. The New Ware set in 1:48 scale is aimed at masking the engine exhaust nozzles, that is the part which is painted differently from the rest of the airframe and where a sharp separation of the individual areas lifts the final impression considerably. The manufacturer lists the other stages and other subjects of the same line separately.
The Su-35 is a single-seat twin-engined supersonic combat aircraft derived from the Su-27 design family. The engines are housed in nacelles separated from the fuselage and their exhaust nozzles with movable segments are among the most exposed places on the aircraft to the eye. It is precisely the nozzles that differ markedly in color from the rest of the surface in reality, because they are made of heat-resistant materials and change shade in service. A faithful rendering of these areas therefore counts for a lot on a model.
First clean and degrease the nozzles and spray the base metal shade. Then apply the masks with tweezers segment by segment and press the edges down so that paint does not creep under them. Work in thin coats; with metallic paints that matters especially, because a heavy coat forms an edge that the mask catches on when it is peeled off. Stir metallics thoroughly, as the pigment settles to the bottom, and apply them last, because they are harder to overspray. Distinguish the shades between the segments subtly and at the end unify them with a light wash or a pigment.
This is an accessory to a model, not a kit. The plastic model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. It is worth checking the match with your kit before buying.
