Seat belts are the first thing a viewer notices in an open cockpit. A kit either suggests them only with shallow relief on the seat or leaves them out altogether, and the space around the seat then looks empty. Textile belts solve that shortcoming differently from plastic: the fabric can be folded, draped over the edge of the seat and spread out so that the belts look set aside rather than arranged. It is exactly that casual shape that makes a cockpit convincing.
The set is listed for the Messerschmitt Bf 109E in 1:48 scale. The E version is the form from the beginning of the Second World War, recognizable among other things by the angular framing of the canopy glazing and by the square wingtips. The cockpit of this type is narrow and, once the canopy is closed, it is mainly the seat with its belts that stays visible. What exactly the set contains and in what order the elements are assembled is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
A set of belts is supplied. The model, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
