A precisely cast resin wheel set from RES-IM, intended to improve models of the late versions of the Soviet MiG-21 fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not a model of an airplane but an accessory, a detail set that replaces the wheels from the plastic kit with more faithful parts carrying a sharper tire tread pattern and finer relief on the hubs.
The MiG-21 was a single-engine supersonic fighter with a characteristic delta wing and ranks among the most widely used jet fighters in history. The late versions differ from the early ones among other things in the shape and design of the landing gear wheels, which resin sets of this kind take into account.
First wash the parts free of any mold release agent and separate them carefully from the casting blocks. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding resin. The wheels are easy to paint separately and fit at the very end of the build.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the basic model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
