Mikoyan MiG-21PF grey LööKplus 1:48 is an extended Eduard accessory set with resin parts for the cockpit in the gray version. It is not a kit but an accessory for a model.

LööKplus is the extended variant of the accessory range from the Czech maker Eduard. The basis of the LööK range is a resin instrument panel with the color printing already done, together with a set of harness belts; the version with the plus suffix adds further resin parts for the cockpit. This item is intended for the MiG-21PF in the gray interior version and in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit but an accessory for a model, which is bought separately.
The MiG-21PF was the interceptor version of this single-seat delta-wing fighter. It received a radar in a reshaped intake section and the R-11F2-300 engine, while the gun armament in the fuselage was dropped in favor of guided missiles. The color finish of the cockpit differed between production batches and operators; this set matches the gray finish, which was in use alongside the turquoise shade.
Wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with detergent so that the remains of the mold release agent disappear. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw and level the surfaces with a file; use respiratory protection while sanding resin. It is bonded with cyanoacrylate glue, as ordinary cement for plastic has no effect on resin. Do not lay a clear coat over the color-printed panel. Dry-fit the parts before putting them into the fuselage, because there is little room in the cockpit and material sometimes has to be taken off the plastic tub.
The accessory is supplied without a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
