Panther G DB 1:48 from the German brand Solid Scale is a set of self-adhesive painting masks for spraying the factory camouflage pattern of the Daimler-Benz works on the Panther Ausf. G tank.

This is a masking aid for spraying, not a model of the tank. The abbreviation DB in the name refers to the factory camouflage pattern used on late Panther Ausf. G vehicles by the Daimler-Benz production line; it differed from the patterns of other works in the layout of its areas. The set is cut from a self-adhesive film in 1:48 scale, is stuck onto the model, sprayed over, and once taken off the pattern stays sharply bounded directly in the paint.
German late camouflage works with three shades, so plan the procedure in advance and spray from the lightest to the darkest. In 1:48 scale the areas are small, so lower the air pressure and hold the nozzle close, otherwise the paint will mist the surroundings of the mask. Watch out for intricate surfaces — on vehicles with Zimmerit, tools and brackets, cut the film into smaller pieces, as it then follows the shape better. Once finished, let the paint cure, then matte the model and only after that apply a wash and pigments, which soften the transitions between the colors.
The set holds neither a model nor paints. Choose the particular shades according to your subject and the paint range used.
