An injection-molded plastic kit of the Chinese J-11B fighter in 1:48 scale from Hobby Boss. The set offers a detailed cockpit and landing gear bays, a well-worked fuselage and wings, clear parts and a decal sheet. Photo-etched parts are included as well. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The J-11B is a Chinese single-seat twin-engine multirole fighter derived from the design of the Su-27 Flanker and built in China. The B version brought domestic avionics and fire control systems. The machine serves with the People's Liberation Army Air Force as a heavy fighter for air superiority.
Paint and fit the cockpit before closing the fuselage. Use thin modeling cement on the plastic, glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue and the clear canopy with cement for transparent plastics. Apply a primer before painting and spray with an airbrush. Modern gray camouflage schemes stand out once the panels are lightly brought out.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
