The Ausf. M was produced at a time when the design was being revised practically on the move, so vehicles from different parts of the run differ in details of the hatches, the vision ports, the exhaust and the equipment on the hull. A model built from the box tends to be a compromise between the variants. If you are building a specific machine from a photograph, what decides is precisely whether it has the early or the late form - and the differences are large enough for a knowledgeable viewer to notice them.
Before you start gluing, compare the resin parts with the plastic ones and set aside those that will not be used. Wash the castings in warm water with detergent, or the primer will not hold. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw and finish the surface on abrasive paper laid on glass or a board, so that the parts sit with no gap. With conversions it pays to repeat the dry run several times. It is bonded with super glue; fill the seams with putty and sand them down. Do not underestimate sanding resin with protection for your airways. Start painting with a primer, which evens out how plastic and resin take paint, and only then apply the base shade and the weathering.
