This sheet set of waterslide decals serves as additional marking for models of Royal Air Force and Royal Navy aircraft of the more recent period. It brings roundels, fin stripes and service and unit markings in a form a modeler will use across several builds. These are not decals tied to a single type of aircraft but a universal update sheet. The model itself, the paints and the glue are not included.
Update sheets of this kind complete or replace the insignia from boxed sets and come in useful when you want to unify the markings of a collection or to replace damaged decals. They typically hold national insignia in several sizes and other small markings.
Cut the decals as close to the marking as possible and transfer them from lukewarm water. Apply them over a smooth, ideally gloss varnish, which prevents the silvering effect. Settling into the detail is helped by softening and setting solution. Once dry, go over the area with a protective varnish to the degree of gloss you want.
This is a set of decals, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
