An injection-molded plastic kit of the Swedish two-seat jet aircraft SAAB 32 Lansen in the J-32B and J-32E versions from Hobby Boss. The kit offers engraved panel lines, detailed tandem cockpits, well detailed landing gear bays with a choice of position, a multi-part canopy, the face of the turbine with the afterburner and photo-etched parts. Guided missiles and drop tanks are included as well.
The SAAB 32 Lansen was a two-seat transonic aircraft built by SAAB between 1955 and 1960 for the Swedish Air Force. During its long service it served as a strike, fighter, reconnaissance and electronic warfare aircraft. The J-32B version was the all-weather fighter form armed with ADEN cannons and guided missiles; the J-32E version was used for electronic warfare and jamming tasks.
Join the parts with liquid cement for plastic and glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. Before spraying, treat the surface with a base coat and apply the paints with an airbrush. First finish the cockpits and the landing gear bays, then close the fuselage; mask the clear parts.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
