This is NOT a vehicle model but a resin replacement wheel set from the South Korean maker DEF Model in 1:48 scale. It replaces the wheels from the Tamiya plastic kit of the German amphibious VW Schwimmwagen. This is the version with wide Continental type tires. The bottom of the tires is cast sagged, so that the wheels sit realistically under the weight of the vehicle.
The wheels are fitted to the chassis of the base kit in place of the parts from the box. A masking template for the rims is usually included. In the small 1:48 scale, working with tiny resin parts calls for care and is intended for more experienced modelers.
Wash the remains of the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and the sprue gates carefully and glue with cyanoacrylate. Sand the resin with your airways protected.
