The set represents a Soviet handling cart for loading and hanging aerial armament in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but a diorama accessory of airfield ground support. The cart served to carry bombs and rockets to a parked aircraft and to load them onto the pylons. In a diorama it rounds out a scene of arming and preparing a machine for flight.
Munition handling carts are an indispensable part of armament work on combat aircraft. They make it possible to carry heavy armament safely and to lift it to the pylons. Equipment like this was common at Soviet and Russian front-line airfields.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Unify the structure with a primer, spray the base shade and bring the metal areas to life with chips, rust and a wash. Pigments on the running parts will fine-tune the working grime.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue, armament and a diorama base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
