Precise self-adhesive painting masks New Ware Su-11 Fishpot 1:48 for cleanly spraying the cockpit glazing and its frames when building a model of this Soviet interceptor.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely cut self-adhesive masks of thin washi (kabuki) tape, meant for masking the cockpit glazing and its frames when painting a model of the Su-11 in 1:48 scale. It is neither a model nor decals but an aid that makes spraying markedly faster and more precise. The tape is pliable, follows the curve of the canopy and leaves no adhesive behind when peeled off.
The Sukhoi Su-11 (NATO reporting name Fishpot) was a Soviet single-seat supersonic interceptor of the early 1960s. It was derived from the Su-9, had a delta wing and a single jet engine and was part of the air defense forces. It carried a radar in the intake centerbody and air-to-air guided missiles.
The masks are an aid for painting, not a model. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
