Su-27UB boarding ladders of the late form 1:48 is a resin accessory from LP Models for a model of the two-seat machine. It is not a kit of the aircraft but a set of ground equipment in its own right.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains resin boarding ladders for the two-seat version of the Su-27 in the late form, cast in 1:48 scale. It is an accessory for a finished model, not a kit of the aircraft. The number of parts and the dimensions are given on the packaging of the set.
The later machines of the Su-27 line differ from the early ones in details of the ground equipment, and the boarding ladder is one of them. If you are building a particular machine from a later period of service, the set will let you avoid the mismatch that an experienced eye catches on a diorama at once. At the same time the ladder works as a key to scale: from it the viewer immediately gauges how large the aircraft really is.
Count on resin being strong but not flexible. What would bend in injection-molded plastic will crack here, and the most endangered parts are the thin rungs and side rails of the ladder. Unpack the parts over a soft surface, therefore, do not press when sanding, and store the finished set separately from heavier parts. If something does break even so, it is no tragedy: the break tends to be clean and you will glue it with cyanoacrylate glue, with a drop of filler if need be. Looking for a broken part on the floor is worse, so work over a light-colored surface.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. It is not a model of the aircraft but an accessory for it. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
