The Su-30 is a two-seat multirole aircraft from the development branch of the Su-27 line. A machine parked on the apron always stands on chocks under its wheels, and yet this is the detail that is missing from models most often. Together with a ladder wheeled up to both cockpits it gives a scene exactly the small thing the viewer will not name, but which decides whether the scene looks parked or merely static.
Cut the casting block off with a fine-toothed saw a little above the part and only then sand the remainder down. With small parts, such as the chocks are, it is safer to lay sandpaper on a flat board and run the part over it than to hold a file in your hand and fight the pressure. That way you have a constant plane and there is no risk of tapering a chock into a wedge. Work wet and with a respirator; resin dust is fine and irritates the airways.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. It is not a model of the aircraft but an accessory for it. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
