An injection-molded plastic kit of the American VH-34D helicopter in the presidential transport fit known as Marine One, in 1:48 scale from Trumpeter. The set offers finely engraved panel lines, clear cabin parts, optional interior parts and etched parts. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The VH-34D is based on the proven Sikorsky S-58 helicopter. In the VH version it served as a presidential transport machine, which carries the call sign Marine One when the head of state is aboard. Its high fuselage structure with the engine in the forward section under the cabin is characteristic.
First finish and paint the cabin interior, and only then close the fuselage up and fit the glazing. Glue the plastic with a thin cement and attach the glazing with a cement for clear parts. The formal glossy scheme of a presidential machine calls for a smooth base, gloss varnish and a clean application of the decals.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
