Walrus Mk.I fabric seat belts 1:48 (HGW) are laser-cut fabric belts with photo-etched buckles for a realistic cockpit on models of the Supermarine Walrus amphibian.
Responsibility details are not available.
Laser-cut fabric seat belts in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker HGW, meant for models of the British Supermarine Walrus Mk.I amphibian. This is not a model but a detail accessory for the cockpit. The belts are printed on a fine microtextile that behaves like real cloth and, combined with photo-etched buckles, they imitate period safety belts faithfully.
The Supermarine Walrus was a British amphibious biplane used mainly for reconnaissance and for rescuing downed airmen at sea. It was also launched by catapult from surface ships, which makes its cockpit a rewarding detail for modelers.
The fabric can be shaped naturally and drapes over a seat more realistically than plastic. Take the belts off the sheet, remove the carrier layer and thread them through the photo-etched buckles; they are fixed with CA glue (cyanoacrylate). The material stands up to the usual non-aggressive modeling products.
This is a detail accessory for the cockpit, not a model. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
