A set of injection-molded plastic figures of British soldiers of the Second World War in 1:48 scale from the Japanese brand Tamiya. It is a rich set with a number of figures in various lifelike poses, supplemented by separate weapons and equipment. The smaller 1:48 scale suits Tamiya aircraft and ground models very well for shared dioramas.
The uniforms and equipment faithfully capture British soldiers of the Second World War. The set offers infantry, tank crewmen, the crew of an armored personnel carrier and further figures suitable for building a scene. The variety of positions and accessories makes it possible to put together a lively scene from the European battlefront, from a patrol through the crew of a vehicle to a civilian figure in the background.
Separate the small parts carefully from the frames and clean them up. Apply a thin primer before painting. Paint the uniforms in layers: a base, a dark wash in the folds, a dry brush on the edges. In 1:48 scale take care over fine transitions and cleanly worked faces. The figures go beautifully with a Tamiya aircraft or vehicle in the same scale and give a diorama both scale and a story.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
