About product

Yak-130 ADVANCED painting masks 1:48 (New Ware)

A set of painting masks from New Ware at the ADVANCED level for a model of the trainer and light attack aircraft Yakovlev Yak-130 in 1:48 scale. The masks are die-cut from yellow kabuki tape and at this level cover the canopy glazing and further selected areas, so they allow a clean and accurate spray finish without lengthy hand masking.

Use

  • Degrease the glazing and the surfaces and apply the mask to a clean, dry surface.
  • Burnish the edges carefully so that paint cannot creep under the edge.
  • Spray in thin coats and peel the mask off while the paint is still slightly supple.

Who it is for

For modelers who want accurate and quick masking of the modern jet Yak-130.

The masks contain no paints and no model; they serve only for masking while spraying.
