RES-IM Zb-500Sh 1:48 (2 pieces) is a resin set of two Soviet 500 kg incendiary aircraft bombs in 1:48 scale for carriage under models of Soviet aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin set from RES-IM holds two Soviet incendiary aircraft bombs of the Zb-500Sh type in 1:48 scale. It is an accessory, a piece of ordnance for carriage under models of Soviet and related combat aircraft, not a model in its own right. The package usually comes with decal markings as well.
The Zb-500Sh is a Soviet aircraft bomb of roughly 500 kg filled with an incendiary mixture. Bombs of this type were hung on the external racks of tactical and ground-attack aircraft and were used against area and soft targets.
Wash the parts free of any mold release agent, separate them from the casting blocks and bond them with super glue. The bombs are easy to paint separately and fit onto the racks at the end of the build. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the basic model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
