The plastic set from the manufacturer Trumpeter contains several pieces of the BFC carrier biplane in 1:700 scale. This is not a stand-alone airplane model, but an accessory for populating models of aircraft carriers and ships in the same scale. The parts tend to be molded in clear plastic. Glue, paints and the target ship model are not included in the package.
The BFC is an American carrier biplane from the 1930s that combined the role of a fighter and a light bomber (in the designation Bomber-Fighter). The US Navy operated it on the decks of aircraft carriers in the prewar period and it carried striking colorful service markings.
Separate the fine wings and struts of the biplane with a sharp knife and glue them with super glue. Painting is possible with a brush as well as with an airbrush; prewar machines had colorful markings, which will stand out with small decals or with a careful brush. The finished aircraft are seated on the deck of the carrier model.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
