Flyhawk 1:700 deck masks for the destroyer HMS Lively 1941 make spraying the wooden deck areas easier.
Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory for modelers of ships in 1:700 scale from the brand Flyhawk. The package contains pre-cut masks for the deck areas, with which you can spray the wooden decks sharply bounded against the steel parts without having to mask laboriously with tape. The set is cut for the same maker's kit of the British destroyer HMS Lively as she stood in 1941, which has to be bought separately. On a destroyer at this scale these are areas only a few centimeters long, where masking by hand can hardly be done straight.
HMS Lively was an L-class destroyer, a type taken into service just before the war and intended for escorting task forces as well as for independent torpedo attacks. The ship operated in the Mediterranean, took part in night actions against Italian convoys and was sunk in May 1942 by German bombers off the Egyptian coast. On models of destroyers it is precisely the division between the wooden deck and the steel that is the most demanding step in painting.
The set is intended for modelers who are building a ship model with an emphasis on clean painting. The kit and the paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
