HMS Valiant 1939 is a plastic kit of the British Queen Elizabeth class battleship in 1:700 scale from the manufacturer Trumpeter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit captures the British battleship HMS Valiant as she was at the end of the 1930s. The hull is arranged so that you can choose between the variant with a full hull on a stand and the waterline version down to the waterline. Photo-etched parts, a stand with a nameplate and decals are part of the package. Paints, glue and other accessories are not included, unless stated otherwise.
HMS Valiant belonged to the battleships of the Queen Elizabeth class. She entered service during the First World War and took part in the Battle of Jutland. After her modernization between the wars she served in the Second World War as well, among other places in the Mediterranean. She was armed with a main battery of 15-inch guns and carried the heavy armor typical of this class.
Glue the parts with a thin modeling cement for plastic. Fix the photo-etched items such as the railings and the radars with super glue. We recommend a base of primer and an airbrush for an even naval camouflage scheme; the deck detail will stand out after a fine wash and dry brushing.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
