1:700 IJN Battlecruiser Hiei 1915 Paintingmask

Kajika 1:700 IJN Battlecruiser Hiei 1915 Paintingmask — masking set

The pre-cut masking set is intended for a model of the Japanese battlecruiser Hiei in her fit of 1915, in 1:700 scale, from the manufacturer Kajika. It is not a model of the ship but an accessory that makes accurate masking and painting easier. The set helps you manage sharp transitions between colors on the decks and the hull without laboriously cutting masking tape.

Use

• Stick the pre-cut masks on the appropriate places of the model, following the shape of the parts.
• Press the edges down so that the paint does not creep under the mask.
• Apply the paint with an airbrush in thin coats.
• Once it has dried, take the masks off carefully and reveal a clean transition.

Who the set is for

For modelers building the battlecruiser Hiei in 1:700 scale who want to speed up and sharpen their painting. It will be appreciated above all by builders who dislike laborious masking of small areas by hand.

This is an add-on masking set, not a model in its own right. The base kit and paints are not included in the package.
