A set of two injection-molded plastic kits of the destroyers Suzukaze and Umikaze of the Shiratsuyu class of the Imperial Japanese Navy in 1:700 scale from the manufacturer Fujimi. The package makes it possible to build a pair of these slender, fast ships. The models are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Suzukaze and the Umikaze belonged to the destroyers of the Shiratsuyu class of the Imperial Japanese Navy. These were fast ships with pronounced torpedo armament, which escorted formations and carried out both escort and attack tasks. Slender hulls and low superstructures are characteristic of these destroyers.
According to the contents of the kit, the model can be built as a full hull or as a waterline version. Glue the fine superstructures, masts and armament precisely; the railings and further details can be supplemented with photo-etched parts. Lay the hull and the decks on with an airbrush and bring the details out with a wash. The pair of ships can be displayed together strikingly on stands or in a diorama.
The models are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
