Aber 1:700 – a set of 12 turned metal barrels of 356 mm caliber for models of the American battleships of the Arizona class replaces the plastic barrels of the main battery.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is an accessory for building plastic models in 1:700 scale, not a standalone model. The package holds twelve turned metal barrels of 356 mm caliber (14 inches), that is the main armament of the American battleships of the Arizona type (four triple turrets). It is made by the Polish brand Aber.
The metal barrels replace the plastic parts from the kit. The parting seam and the coarseness of plastic are gone; the muzzle is accurate and on the axis. Twelve pieces cover the complete main battery of a ship.
Cut off the plastic barrel, drill a hole in the remaining part of the turret and glue the metal barrel in with cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the metal before painting and go over it with a base coat.
This is a detail accessory, not a model of a ship. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
