A scenic accessory with designs of old maps in black and white, listed in 1:72, 1:35 and 1:24 scale. In a scene a map is the small thing a viewer notices right after the figures: a sheet spread out on the table of a command post or on the fender of a vehicle says at once what is going on in the setting and why the figures are standing there. How many designs the delivery holds is given by the manufacturer's description.
It works best where there is an obvious reason for it to be lying there. On a tabletop under a lamp, pinned to a wooden wall, folded in the hand of a standing figure, laid on the hood of a vehicle or dropped among scattered papers in an abandoned post. It also helps when only part of the sheet is visible, for instance under another document or covered by a field bag.
For builders of dioramas and display-case scenes who complete the action around the main model as well. The three scales in the name leave room to use the designs both in a small scene and with large figures. A base, buildings, figures, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
