This is a printed paper accessory for dioramas, not a kit. The set from ETA Diorama holds motifs of oriental carpets and Persian rugs in the small scales of 1:72 and 1:76. Detailed printing on quality paper captures the intricate patterns even at a small size.
Carpets liven up the interiors of houses, shops and markets as well as outdoor scenes and add color and a cultural setting to a display. In the small scales a flat detail like this is an effective means of making a scene look lived in.
Cut the motifs out with a sharp knife. For a natural impression a carpet can be bent gently, so that it follows the undercoat or overhangs an edge. They are glued with thinned PVA glue; matte clear coat unifies the surface and protects the printing.
A diorama accessory in printed paper. Glue and a base are not included in the package.
