The sheet is a printed paper accessory for dioramas. It is not a kit and not a waterslide decal. It holds reproductions of period French posters from the period of the First World War, that is a period depiction used for the believability of a historical scene. The motifs are cut out of the sheet and posted up on surfaces in a scene.
According to the name the sheet is prepared for 1:72 and 1:76 scale. The difference between them is small enough for the motifs to come into their own in both; while building, just check the size against the particular building or figure in the scene, ideally by laying an uncut motif against it before cutting. If you build precisely, pick the motif on the sheet whose ratio to the height of a door or a window matches the scale you intend.
A posted-up poster is exposed to the weather and its condition is meant to give that away. Once it is glued, let the glue dry out completely and spray the surface with a weak layer of matte clear coat; only then can you work on the printing by the wet route. A very thinned wash at the edges will suggest weathering, fine vertical strokes from top to bottom the traces of rain. A corner partly lifted with the tip of a scalpel and a small tear look more believable than an unbroken surface. In the small scales keep the contrast low, otherwise a poster comes across as a colored smudge from a distance.
The motifs are historical reproductions intended to achieve the period believability of a scene. The content of the posters is neither commented on nor translated; the product is intended for modelers and collectors as a scenic accessory.
It is a printed paper accessory. Glue, paints, clear coats and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
