The T-34-85 is the late version of the Soviet T-34 medium tank. Against the earlier machines it received a larger turret for three men and a gun of 85 millimeters in caliber; the commander thereby stopped having to serve the weapon and could direct the fighting. The tank was built in enormous numbers, and with every production factory the small details on the hull and the turret differed, and it is precisely these variations that make the T-34-85 a rewarding subject for modelers.

Follow them for the choice of base shade as well, and compare the size of the individual elements beforehand with the hull and turret of your own model.
Proceed in the usual wet way: cut the element out, immerse it for a few seconds in lukewarm water and let it stand until it begins to move on the paper. A vehicle model tends to be matte, so varnish the place under the decal with a gloss varnish beforehand; on a matte surface air would be left under the film and the edge would whiten. Once it is straight, press the water out with a soft cloth from the center outward, let it dry and take the sheen off the area. Before you soak the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is not a self-adhesive version. A soaked self-adhesive film is irretrievably ruined, whereas a wet decal can be soaked later as well.
