Injection-molded plastic kit of the Czechoslovak aircraft Aero C-3 A/B in 1:72 scale from Smer.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Czechoslovak twin-engine aircraft Aero C-3 in 1:72 scale from Smer. Both the A and the B variant can be built from the kit, and the decals allow a military as well as a civil form. It is an older mold of classic design; check the actual contents of the box and the decals against the manufacturer's part number for this item.
The Aero C-3 was the Czechoslovak licensed version of the German Siebel Si 204 aircraft, whose production was started by the Aero company after the Second World War. Several variants appeared: the trainer form (the A and B versions, with the B used for bombing training) and the transport and multi-role form for carrying people. The twin-engine machine became an everyday part of postwar Czechoslovak aviation for many years.
With older molds, reckon with more careful cleanup of the parts: sand the joints and remove any sprue stubs. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and the clear parts with cement for clear parts. Paint the interior before closing up the fuselage. After the base coat and the decals, bring out the panel lines with a fine wash; civil as well as military schemes come out well on a smoothly sanded surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
