Metallic Details 1:72 AGM-114 Hellfire is a set of resin guided missiles with photo-etched parts, accessory armament for models of helicopters and aircraft in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This detail set holds twenty-two resin parts and a photo-etched sheet measuring roughly forty by twenty-one millimeters. It makes it possible to replace the simplified plastic external stores and their racks with more crisply cast parts. It is not an aircraft or helicopter kit, as the set is an accessory for a model in 1:72 scale that you already own.
The AGM-114 Hellfire is an American short-range antiarmor air-to-ground guided missile. It is carried above all by the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter, but it is also used from other helicopter and unmanned platforms. The missile has a slender cylindrical body with a guidance section at the front, fins in the middle and stabilizing surfaces at the rear; several are hung one above another on a rack, so on a model they form a prominent cluster of tiny parts.
Wash the castings first in lukewarm soapy water. Cut the slender missiles off the casting blocks with a saw in small steps, so that the guidance tips do not break off. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer before painting; the usual sequence is a light base, and the sharp boundary of the color bands is easier to do with masking tape than freehand. Glue the missiles to the model right at the end, otherwise they break while you work.
The set is an accessory for a plastic model, not a kit in its own right. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
