An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Kovozavody Prostejov. The QinetiQ edition carries the markings of Alpha Jet machines used by the British test and research operator from Farnborough, with their striking color schemes. The box contains plastic and clear parts and color instructions with the marking schemes.
The Alpha Jet is a French-German jet aircraft intended for training and, in the A version, for light attack duties as well. After their military careers some of the machines serve with civilian and test organizations, which use them for research flights and trials support. Such machines stand out with striking color schemes that are different at first glance.
Join the plastic parts with liquid cement and separate the fine pieces with a sharp knife. The striking test schemes with their contrasting areas are best laid down with an airbrush over a thin base coat; the key is clean masking of the crisp boundaries. Glue the canopy glazing on last. Apply the decals onto gloss varnish and even the surface out with the matching varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
