A resin figure of a British pilot of the Sea Harrier aircraft from the period of the Falklands War of 1982 in 1:72 scale from the brand Aerobonus. The man in period flight gear will complement a model of the Sea Harrier or a scene on the deck of an aircraft carrier.
The British vertical take-off Sea Harrier fighters played a key role during the conflict over the Falklands in 1982, when they operated from the decks of aircraft carriers. The pilots wore flight overalls, life vests and helmets. The figure captures the typical appearance of a pilot of this era.
The figure is cast in resin, so before gluing wash the remains of the mold release agent off the parts and carefully cut off the casting blocks. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and sand with respiratory protection. It is advisable to apply a primer first for adhesion and to paint the figure with a brush, with the emphasis on the face and the folds of the clothing; a final wash will bring out the details.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin casting. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
