The decal set from the Czech manufacturer AML in 1:72 scale brings markings for the Curtiss Hawk 81-A2, the export version of the famous P-40 family. On one sheet you will find the artwork for six camouflage schemes of aircraft connected with Chinese service, so you can pick the variant that suits you best, or build a small collection straight away.
The Hawk 81-A2 wrote itself indelibly into history through its use in China at the beginning of the 1940s. It was on these aircraft that the American volunteers fighting on the Chinese side against the Japanese air units flew, and the aircraft with shark mouths on the nose are among the best known aircraft of the Second World War altogether. A rugged airframe and six-gun armament made the type a dangerous opponent, especially in combat at high speed.
Spray the camouflage according to the scheme you have chosen and coat it with gloss before the decals go on. Cut the subjects out close to the print, settle them with a setting solution and use a decal softener across panel lines. Once dry, rinse the surplus away with a damp brush and seal the model with a flat or satin varnish.
This is a decal sheet, an accessory rather than an aircraft kit. The particular aircraft on the sheet follow the manufacturer's current release.
