Fortress Mk.III exterior 1:72 is an Eduard set of photo-etched metal parts for sharpening the external details of a model of the British Fortress Mk.III bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of photo-etched metal parts for sharpening the external detail of a model of the British Fortress Mk.III bomber in 1:72 scale. It is not a model in its own right but an accessory. The thin photo-etched parts bring elements that injection-molded plastic cannot capture at the right thickness, for example covers, grilles, stiffeners and other fine exterior details.
Fortress Mk.III was the British designation of the American B-17G Flying Fortress heavy bomber in the service of the Royal Air Force. The machines served above all with special duties units, among other things for jamming and for long-range patrol. It was a four-engine all-metal bomber of the period of the Second World War.
Separate the photo-etched parts from the fret with a sharp knife and bend them over an edge or in a bending tool. Glue them with super glue and seat the small parts with tweezers. Before the varnish we recommend degreasing the metal surfaces and spraying a primer for better adhesion of the paint.
This is a supplementary set, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
