The Fouga CM-170 Magister Other Services 1:72 (Kovozavody Prostejov) is an injection-molded plastic kit of a French jet trainer aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale captures the French two-seat Fouga CM-170 Magister jet trainer, easily recognizable by its butterfly tail surfaces. The Other Services boxing brings decals for the machines of less usual operators. The tool offers fine engraving and clear cockpit parts.
The Fouga CM-170 Magister was the first series-produced jet trainer aircraft in the world. It flew in 1952 and became the backbone of pilot training in France and in many other countries. It was distinguished by its characteristic butterfly V-tail and by a long service life; some machines served in combat and aerobatic roles as well.
Glue the plastic parts with a thin cement for polystyrene and dry-fit the joints. A filling primer before airbrushing works well. Lay down a gloss coat under the decals and flatten the result according to the type of scheme; many Magisters carried striking colored markings.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
