1:72 Fouga CM-175 Zephyr Mask

Fouga CM-175 Zéphyr masking masks 1:72 (Special Mask)

A set of precisely cut self-adhesive masks for masking while spraying. The masks follow the heavily divided frames of the long glazed cockpit, so the frames come out crisp and even. The set is prepared for Fouga CM-175 Zéphyr models in 1:72 scale.

The real subject

The Fouga CM.175 Zéphyr was a French two-seat jet trainer, the carrier version of the well-known Magister trainer adapted for training naval aviators. It was notable for its characteristic butterfly tail and was suited to operating from aircraft carriers.

Use and tips

• Stick the masks onto clean glazing and press the edges down carefully.
• Apply the paint with an airbrush in thin layers.
• Peel the mask off before the finish has cured completely.
• Mask the long glazed cockpit patiently, part by part.

Who the set is for

• Modelers of postwar jet trainers who are after crisp cockpit frames.
• Builders who want a clean result without patching by hand.

This is a masking aid, not a paint or a kit. The paints and the model are not included in the package.
