A resin conversion set for the Fw 190 V75 with the SG 113 Förstersonde system in 1:72 scale from AML. It makes it possible to build the experimental antitank version of the Fw 190.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a complete model of an aircraft but a resin conversion set for more advanced modelers. It holds cast parts (with AML conversions usually supplemented with photo-etch) with which you rebuild a model of the Fw 190 into the experimental V75 machine fitted with the SG 113 Förstersonde antitank weapon system. The set is intended for models of the Fw 190 in 1:72 scale.
The SG 113 Förstersonde was a German experimental antiarmor system: a set of vertically aimed recoilless barrels built into the aircraft, which fired automatically the moment a magnetic sensor under the aircraft registered a tank passing below. The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 V75 served as one of the flying test carriers of this weapon.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate); so are the fine photo-etched parts. Given that the fuselage is being rebuilt, we recommend careful dry fitting and filling of the seams where needed.
This is a conversion accessory, not a complete kit. The base model of the aircraft, glue and paints are not included in the package.
