The plastic kit of the Hawker Hunter F.Mk.58 in 1:72 scale from Mistercraft captures the Swiss export version of the classic British jet fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Hawker Hunter jet fighter in the F.Mk.58 version. It is a reissue of a proven mold as presented by the Polish maker Mistercraft. The box holds parts in gray plastic, a clear cockpit part, a decal sheet and instructions with color scheme drawings. The build is of medium difficulty and suits modelers who already have a few kits behind them.
The Hawker Hunter was a British single-seat jet fighter of the 1950s, valued for its elegant lines and pleasant handling. The F.Mk.58 version was the export variant delivered to the Swiss Air Force, where it served for decades. The Hunter also made its name as a display team machine.
Separate the parts from the sprues carefully and dry-fit the joints before gluing. It is best to paint the cockpit and the landing gear before the fuselage is closed. The bare metal surfaces of the airframe come out best under an airbrush; the clear canopy is best masked and painted separately. Use a gloss coat before the decals and a flat or semi-gloss coat over them.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
