A resin detail set for improving a model of the carrier-based Hawker Nimrod fighter biplane in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Black Dog. The set brings a faithfully rendered space for carrying bombs and the related elements of the lower fuselage. It is not a model of an aircraft but an accessory that calls for a separately bought Nimrod kit in this scale.
The Hawker Nimrod was a British carrier-based fighter biplane of the Fleet Air Arm of the 1930s, derived from the Hawker Fury. A finely rendered lower section with bomb equipment enriches an otherwise small model with a striking element that catches the eye especially when seen from below or in a diorama.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut the casting blocks away and join them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Small parts in this scale call for tweezers and a calm hand; sand resin wet and with respiratory protection. Before painting we recommend a filler primer.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; it is not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
