An injection-molded plastic kit of the Praga E-114 light sporting and touring aircraft, built under British license as the Hillson and nicknamed the Air Baby, in 1:72 scale from Kovozavody Prostejov. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted; decals for several schemes tend to be included. The E-114B version matches a particular subvariant of this successful design.
The Praga E-114 was a two-seat light aircraft of the 1930s of Czechoslovak design, popular for its good flying qualities and low fuel consumption. Its undemanding nature earned it the nickname Air Baby and it was also built under license in Great Britain by Hillson. It served for sporting and touring flying.
Dry-fit the small parts and clean them up. Glue the struts and the landing gear carefully, so that the geometry holds. Mask the glazing of the cockpit. Civilian interwar schemes suit the painting; tone the surfaces gently and add discreet weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
