Light pillbox model 37 (Ropik) 1:72, without terrain is a small model of the Czechoslovak light fortifications in the B1-90 Z variant, supplied without a terrain base.
Responsibility details are not available.
A collector model of the Czechoslovak light fortifications, popularly called a Ropik, in 1:72 scale. It captures the model 37 pillbox in the B1-90 Z variant, that is, with a particular angle of fire between the embrasures. This version is supplied as the structure on its own with no terrain base, so you can set it into a diorama or a mock-up of a fortified line of your own.
The light fortifications of model 37 formed continuous lines of reinforced concrete pillboxes built in the second half of the 1930s as part of the Czechoslovak border fortifications. These small structures for a few men and their machine guns were built in many variants differing in shape, orientation and angle of fire. The nickname Ropik comes from the initials of the Directorate of Fortification Works.
Clean any remaining casting blocks off the casting and wash the surface. Gray shades completed with washes and dry pigments for an earthy and mossy cast capture the look of concrete well. For a faithful setting we recommend seating the model into a terrain base of your own.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, in this version without a terrain base. Paints, glue and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
