Responsibility details are not available.
The M1 Panther is a mine-clearing vehicle built on the chassis of the American M1 Abrams main battle tank with the turret removed. A heavy roller device is attached in front of the vehicle, and its pressure sets off antipersonnel mines before the wheels and tracks of the vehicles behind it run over them. That is exactly why the vehicle works at the head of a column and its task is to open a safe lane rather than to fight. The design allows for the crew not having to be inside while passing through a dangerous stretch, which is why the vehicle can also be operated remotely.
For collector military vehicles 1:72 is a widespread scale, so the model suits aircraft and other vehicles of the same size. A tank the size of the Abrams works out at about eleven centimeters in it, and a little more with the mine-clearing device attached. The model is supplied finished, unless stated otherwise, so you need no glue, paints or tools for the build.
A vehicle without a turret looks unusual in a display case and is rewarding precisely because it shows a lesser-known side of engineer vehicles. Put it in a closed display case, where there is less dust, and out of direct sun, because the paint fades over time. Take the dust off the surface with a soft brush; the small parts of the mine-clearing device will not stand rougher wiping.
A base, a display case and accessories are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
