The F-16N Fighting Falcon ADVANCED 1:72 mask set is the middle, extended level of the New Ware mask range for the Hasegawa kit. It offers more templates than the basic level.
Responsibility details are not available.
An extended mask set for a model of the single-seat F-16N in 1:72 scale. The ADVANCED designation describes the scope of the package: the set sits between the basic BASIC level and the widest EXPERT level and holds more pre-cut self-adhesive templates than the basic variant. The offcuts match the parts of the Hasegawa kit. It is not a kit, but an accessory for the painting stage.
The extended variant is a compromise for modelers who want more than just covered glazing but do not need the most extensive package in the range. It typically suits the moment when a model is getting a proper camouflage scheme and further areas have to be separated cleanly, areas where preparing masks by hand would take longer than the spraying itself. In 1:72 scale every step saved tells, because the shapes are small and the accuracy of the hand has its limits.
Before you stick anything on, find all the offcuts you will need on the sheet and plan the order of the coats from the lightest color to the darkest. Apply the film to a dry, degreased and fully hardened base. Hold the airbrush straight on at the edge of the mask and spray thinly; it is a tilted nozzle that drives paint under the edge. Take the masks off shortly after drying, one at a time and slowly. Leave the offcuts you do not use on the sheet so that they do not distort.
The package holds only the masking templates. The kit, paints and glue are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
