The real subject

The Nakajima B5N, given the Allied code name Kate, was a Japanese carrier torpedo and level bomber. The early B5N1 version formed the transition to the later machines and, besides combat duty, it also found use in training and auxiliary roles in the rear. The aircraft was marked out by its folding wings for operation on aircraft carrier decks and by its long range.

Use

• Cut the decal out and soak it in lukewarm water.
• Move it onto the surface of the model and adjust its position.
• Apply it onto gloss varnish; a decal softener is suitable.
• Once it has dried, go over it with matte or semi-gloss varnish.
